MOTOR CAR (APPROVED INSTRUMENT) ORDER 1999

The Minister of Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 113(9) of the Motor Car Act 1951, makes the following Order:-

Citation and commencement

1 This Order may be cited as the Motor Car (Approved Instrument) Order 1999 and shall come into operation on 3 December 1999.

Instrument approved

2 The New World Instrument Pocket Detective window tint meter, being an instrument that is designed to measure the percentage of visual transmission for light of a motor car’s windscreen or window, is approved as suitable for the purposes of section 113 of the Act.

Revocation of BR 32/91

3 The Motor Car (Approved Instrument) Order 1991 is revoked. Dated this 26th day of November 1999. EFB Minister Transport
