PAYROLL TAX (APPROVED SCHEMES) DELEGATION NOTICE 2022

The Minister of Finance, in exercise of the power conferred by section 23(5) of the Payroll Tax Act 1995, gives the following Notice:

Citation

1 This Notice may be cited as the Payroll Tax (Approved Schemes) Delegation Notice

2022.

Delegation to Tax Commissioner

2 The Minister of Finance hereby delegates to the Tax Commissioner the Minister’s functions under section 23 of the Payroll Tax Act 1995—

(a) to make orders approving health insurance schemes, hospital insurance schemes, life insurance schemes, retirement schemes and training schemes for the purposes of the Payroll Tax Act 1995; and

(b) to vary or revoke such orders, including orders made by the Minister.
