PROFESSIONAL SURVEYORS REGISTRATION REGULATIONS
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister of the Environment, Development & Opportunity by section 14 of the Professional Surveyors Registration Act 1997, the following regulations are hereby made:⎯
Citation and commencement
1 These Regulations may be cited as the Professional Surveyors Registration Regulations 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st June
2001.
2. Application for registration
(1) An application for registration under section 8 or 12 of the Professional Surveyors Registration Act 1997 shall be made to the Registrar General in Form 1 as set out in the Schedule.
(2) The following documents shall be submitted together with the application—
(a) copies certified by a notary public of any professional qualifications mentioned in the application;
(b) copies of any other documents relating to professional qualifications, experience and character which are to be relied on for the purposes of the application.

(3) Instead of submitting certified copies of documents in accordance with paragraph (2)(a), the Registrar General may, on payment of the prescribed fee, be asked to certify copies of original documents.
Notices
3 Where any provision of the Professional Surveyors Registration Act 1997 requires notice in writing of any matter to be given to a person, the notice shall be hand delivered to that person, and a signed and dated receipt shall be provided by him or on his behalf.

FORMS
FORM 1 APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION NOTE: This Form consists of three Parts. Parts A and B must be completed by all applicants. Part C refers to the professional requirements for registration and since these may be satisfied in any of four ways specified in paragraphs (a) to (d) of section 5 of the Act, applicants shall complete either Part C (1), C (2) or C (3), as appropriate.
PART C — (1): For applicants who are Fellows or Associate Members of
the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors of the United Kingdom.
PART C — (2): For applicants who have a Degree or Diploma in surveying
and not less than two years experience.
PART C — (3): For other applicants.
