REVENUE (APPOINTMENT OF CUSTOMS AREA) (BERMUDA MAIL PROCESSING CENTRE) NOTICE 2017

The Collector of Customs, in exercise of the power conferred by section 36(1) of the Revenue Act 1898, issues the following Notice:

Citation

1 This Notice may be cited as the Revenue (Appointment of Customs Area) (Bermuda Mail Processing Centre) Notice 2017.

Interpretation

2 In this Notice— “customs area” has the same meaning as in section 2 of the Revenue Act 1898.

Appointment of customs area

3 The Bermuda Mail Processing Centre of the Bermuda Post Office, whose premises is located on the 2nd floor of New Venture House, 2 Mill Reach Lane in Pembroke, is appointed as a customs area.

Original plan of customs area available for inspection

4 The original of the plan (Sheet Number: EX-100) is available for inspection during office hours at the Hamilton Customs House with the approval of the Collector of Customs.
