REVENUE (APPOINTMENT OF CUSTOMS AREA) (HAMILTON DOCKS) NOTICE 2015

The Collector of Customs, in exercise of the power conferred by section 36(1) of the Revenue Act 1898 and after consultations with the Corporation of Hamilton, issues the following Notice:

Citation

1 This Notice may be cited as the Revenue (Appointment of Customs Area) (Hamilton docks) Notice 2015.

2. Appointment of Hamilton docks as a customs area

(1) The seaport in the City of Hamilton known as the Hamilton docks shown outlined in red in the plan in the Schedule is appointed to be a customs area.

(2) The original of the plan (Drawing Reference #5510/025/33) is available for inspection during office hours at the Hamilton Customs House.

3. Revocation

(1) The Customs Area (City of Hamilton) Order 1945 is revoked.

(2) Schedule (1) of the Appointment of Customs Areas (GN 146/1989) is revoked.
