REVENUE (APPOINTMENT OF CUSTOMS AREA) (ST. GEORGE’S OIL DOCKS) NOTICE 2018

The Collector of Customs, after having consulted with the relevant authority, in exercise of the power conferred by section 36(1) of the Revenue Act 1898, issues the following Notice:

Citation

1 This Notice may be cited as the Revenue (Appointment of Customs Area) (St. George’s Oil Docks) Notice 2018.

Interpretation

2 In this Notice, “customs area” has the same meaning as in section 2 of the Revenue Act 1898.

3. Appointment of Customs Area

(1) The Oil Docks in Murray’s Anchorage and the adjoining property, shown outlined in red in the plan in the Schedule to this Notice, are appointed as customs areas.

(2) The original of the plan (Drawing Reference # 5510/025/34) which includes a description of the area are available for inspection during office hours at the City of Hamilton Custom House.

4. Revocation

(1) The Customs Area (Town of St. George and Oil Docks) Order 1945 is revoked.

(2) The Appointment of Customs Areas Notice (GN 146/1989) is revoked.
