BERMUDA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT
ST. GEORGE'S (DANGEROUS COMMODITIES) ORDINANCE
[made under section 38 of the Municipalities Act 1923 [title 4 item 1] and brought into operation on 6 September 1949]

Citation
1 This Ordinance may be cited as the St. George's (Dangerous Commodities) Ordinance 1949.
Restriction on keeping fireworks
2 No person shall keep, store, display or offer for sale any fireworks within the Town of St. George, without a permit from the Corporation.
Removal of fireworks landed in port
3 Any fireworks landed from any ship discharging in the Port of St. George's shall be removed beyond the limits of St. George's within 24 hours from the time such fireworks are landed: Provided that in any case when fireworks are imported for official purposes the Corporation may grant a special permit for such fireworks to be landed and stored under such conditions as the Corporation may prescribe.
