STATISTICS (DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION) REGULATIONS

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 18 of the Statistics Act 2002, makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Statistics (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 2002.

Disclosure of information in respect of establishment, etc.

2 For the purposes of section 9(1)(g) of the Statistics Act 2002 the Director may authorize the disclosure of any or all of the following information in respect of an individual establishment, firm or business, that is to say —

(a) the name and address;

(b) the telephone contact number given to the Department to be used in relation to statistical matters;

(c) the items produced, manufactured, processed, transported, stored, purchased or sold, or the services provided, in the course of business;

(d) the total number of established positions; and
