TELECOMMUNICATIONS (BERMUDA HOSPITALS BOARD)

In exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 66 of the Telecommunications Act 1986 the Minister of Telecommunications makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1 This Order may be cited as the Telecommunications (Bermuda Hospitals Board) Exemption Order 1999 and shall come into operation on 1 May 1999.

Exemption

2 The internal television distribution system operated by or for the Bermuda Hospitals Board in the hospitals as defined by section 1 of the Bermuda Hospitals Board Act 1970 is hereby exempted from the provisions of the Telecommunications Act 1986 and the regulations made under that Act.
