TRAFFIC OFFENCES PROCEDURE SPECIFIED PENALTIES NOTICE 2002

The Senior Magistrate in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 9(1) of the Traffic Offences Procedure Act 1974 and with the approval of the Chief Justice hereby makes the following Notice:

Citation and Commencement

1 This Notice may be cited as the Traffic Offences Procedure Specified Penalties Notice

2002 and shall come into operation on the date of the coming into operation of the Hamilton Traffic and Sidewalks Ordinance 1988 Amendment Ordinance 2002.

Amount of Penalty Specified

2 The amount of the penalty for a traffic offence which may be entered by a police officer on a summons issued under Part II of the Act is for each offence described in the first column of the Schedule hereby specified in the third column of the Schedule.
