1. Ratification of Agreement

(1) The Agreement concluded on the seventeenth day of July, nineteen hundred and forty-seven, between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of Canada for the purpose of establishing air communication between the territory of Canada and United Kingdom territories in the West Atlantic and Caribbean areas, is hereby, in so far as the said Agreement relates to Bermuda, ratified and confirmed.

(2) For the purposes of this Act the Agreement referred to in subsection (1) shall be deemed to include the agreement constituted by the notes exchanged on the said seventeenth day of July between Sir Alexander Clutterbuck, High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in Canada, and L. B. Pearson, acting for the Secretary of State for External Affairs of the Government of Canada, in so far as the said notes relate to Bermuda.
