1. Ratification of Agreement

(1) The Agreement concluded on the nineteenth day of August, nineteen hundred and forty-nine, between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of Canada for the purpose of establishing air services between and beyond United Kingdom and Canadian territories is hereby, in so far as the said Agreement relates to Bermuda, ratified and confirmed.

(2) For the purposes of this Act the Agreement referred to in subsection (1) shall be deemed to include the further agreement constituted by the Notes exchanged on the said nineteenth day of August between the United Kingdom signatory and the Canadian signatory to the said Agreement referred to in the foregoing sub-section, in so far as the said Notes relate to Bermuda.[
