BR 19 / 2026 ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1947 ROAD TRAFFIC (BERMUDA BICYCLE ASSOCIATION VT CONSTRUCTION TEAM TIME TRIAL BICYCLE ROAD RACE) (VARIATION OF SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2026 The Minister responsible for works and engineering, in exercise of the power conferred by section 7(2A) of the Road Traffic Act 1947, makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Bermuda Bicycle Association VT Construction Team

2. Time Trial Bicycle Road Race) (Variation of Speed Limits) Order 2026.

Bicycle Association VT Construction Team Time Trial Bicycle Road Race on the Ministry of Public Works and Environment Roads to be held on Sunday, 22nd March 2026.

3. The speed limits fixed by section 7(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Act 1947 are hereby varied to the extent

specified in the first column of the Schedule in respect of the contestants and the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Bermuda Bicycle Association VT Construction Team Time Trial Bicycle Road Race.

4. The relevant roads or parts thereof specified in the second column of the Schedule are hereby declared

to be subject, at the times specified in the third column of the Schedule, in respect of the contestants and the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Bermuda Bicycle Association VT Construction Team Time Trial Bicycle Road Race, to the speed limit specified in the first column thereof.

SCHEDULE

SPEED LIMIT ROADS TIMES The bicycle race commences and concludes near Government

75 kilometres 7:30am to Gate on North Shore Road in Pembroke parish. The per hour 9:30am participants proceed east along North Shore Road, traverse around the Blue Hole Hill Roundabout in Hamilton Parish, and proceed back in a westerly direction along North Shore Road to the finish line using the same route.
