The Minister responsible for transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by regulation 8(1) of the Motor Taxi Regulations 1952, makes the following Order: Short title

1 This Order may be cited as the Motor Taxi (Approved Taxi Meter) (M12 Mirror Taximeter) Order 2026. Instrument approved

2 The M12 Mirror Taximeter, a taximeter that fits over the rear view mirror of a motor taxi which can be programmed with any combination of time, distance and fares, is approved as suitable for the purposes of section 35B(1A) of the Motor Car Act 1951.
