The Minister responsible for transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by regulation 8(1) of the Motor Taxi Regulations 1952, makes the following Order: Short title

1 This Order may be cited as the Motor Taxi (Approved Taxi Meter) (Cab9 Soft Meter) Order 2026. Instrument approved

2 The Cab9 Soft Meter, a software based taximeter used to calculate taxi fares, is approved as suitable for the purposes of section 35B(1A) of the Motor Car Act 1951. Made this 28th day of April 2026 Minister of Tourism and Transport, Culture and Sport
