BR 45 / 2026 ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1947 ROAD TRAFFIC (BERMUDA BICYCLE ASSOCIATION BERMUDA JUNIOR CYCLING ROAD RACE) (VARIATION OF SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2026 The Minister responsible for works and engineering, in exercise of the power conferred by section 7(2A) of the Road Traffic Act 1947, makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Bermuda Bicycle Association Bermuda Junior Cycling

2. Road Race) (Variation of Speed Limits) Order 2026.

Bicycle Association Bermuda Junior Cycling Road Race on Ministry of Public Works and Environment Roads to be held on Sunday, 3rd May 2026.

3. The speed limits fixed by section 7(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Act 1947 are hereby varied to the extent

specified in the first column of the Schedule in respect of the contestants and the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Bermuda Bicycle Association Bermuda Junior Cycling Road Race.

4. The relevant roads or parts thereof specified in the second column of the Schedule are hereby declared

to be subject, at the times specified in the third column of the Schedule, in respect of the contestants and the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Bermuda Bicycle Association Bermuda Junior Cycling Road Race, to the speed limit specified in the first column thereof.

SCHEDULE

SPEED LIMIT ROADS TIMES

75 kilometres The race commences and finishes on South Road at Gulfstream 8:00am to per hour restaurant in Southampton. Travelling easterly along South Road 11:00am then turning left on to St. Paul’s Lane in Paget, then turn left on to Middle Road and travel west towards Lighthouse Road, then turn left on to Lighthouse Road in Southampton and continue until making another left turn on to South Road and proceed east to the finish line.
