BR 59 /2026 ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1947 ROAD TRAFFIC (SINCLAIR PACKWOOD MEMORIAL BICYCLE ROAD RACE) (VARIATION OF SPEED LIMITS) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026 The Corporation of Hamilton, in exercise of the power conferred by section 7(2A) of the Road Traffic Act 1947, makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Sinclair Packwood Memorial Bicycle Road Race)

(Variation of Speed Limits) (No. 2) Order 2026.

2. This Order applies to the contestants and to the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Sinclair

3. Packwood Memorial Bicycle Road Race to be held on Friday, 22nd May 2026.

municipal area of the City of Hamilton specified in the second column of the Schedule (the “relevant roads”) are hereby varied to the extent specified in the first column of the Schedule in respect of the contestants and the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Sinclair Packwood Memorial Bicycle Road Race.

4. The relevant roads or parts thereof specified in the second column of the Schedule are hereby declared

to be subject, at the times specified in the third column of the Schedule, in respect of the contestants and the vehicles attendant on the contestants in the Sinclair Packwood Memorial Bicycle Road Race, to the speed limit specified in the first column thereof.

SPEED LIMIT ROADS TIMES

75 kilometres Commencing at Somerset Road, Sandys at the junction of 7:30am to per hour Cambridge Road and travel in an easterly direction along 12:00pm Somerset Road, easterly direction (Sandys Parish) on to Bridge Hill, on to Middle Road, easterly direction (Sandys, Southampton and Warwick Parishes) to the junction of Burnt House Hill, northerly direction (Warwick Parish), Burnt House Hill on to Harbour Road, easterly direction (Warwick and Paget Parishes), onto The Lane, northerly direction (Paget Parish), on to Crow Lane westerly direction (Paget, Devonshire, Pembroke Parishes), onto Front Street, then onto Queen Street, then Church Street heading east to King Street, then onto Victoria Street to Cedar Avenue and onto Marsh Folly Road, turning right on to Dutton Avenue to the Finish line.
