CUSTOMS TARIFF (APPROVED BUSINESSES - CPC 4234) TEMPORARY NOTICE 2023

The Minister of Finance, in exercise of the power conferred by Customs Procedure Code 4234 of the Fifth Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act 1970, issues the following Notice:

Citation

1 This Notice may be cited as the Customs Tariff (Approved Businesses - CPC 4234) Temporary Notice 2023.

Interpretation

2 In this Notice— “customs procedure code” or “CPC” has the meaning prescribed in section 1 of the Customs Tariff Act 1970; “qualifying goods” means equipment, parts and operating supplies to be used for local genetic testing and research.

Approved business under CPC 4234

3 CariGenetics Limited is an approved business under CPC 4234 of the Fifth

Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act 1970 with respect to the qualifying goods for a period of three years beginning on the date this Notice comes into operation.
