CUSTOMS TARIFF (APPROVED BUSINESSES - CPC 4237) NOTICE 2021

The Minister of Finance, in exercise of the power conferred by Customs Procedure Code 4237 of the Fifth Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act 1970, makes the following Notice:

Citation

1 This Notice may be cited as the Customs Tariff (Approved Businesses - CPC 4237) Notice 2021.

Interpretation

2 In this Notice, “customs procedure code” or “CPC” has the meaning prescribed in section 1 of the Customs Tariff Act 1970.

Approved businesses under CPC 4237

3 The following businesses listed in the first column are approved businesses under CPC 4237 of the Fifth Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act 1970 in respect of the qualifying goods in the corresponding second column—

Approved businesses Qualifying goods Friends of Hospice/Agape House building materials, furnishings, fixtures, fittings and equipment (excluding construction equipment)

1 for use only to develop Agape House land or to construct, furnish, equip, repair or maintain new buildings on that land

4 The Bermuda Perfumery Ltd. plastic bottles, plastic caps, folding cartons, corrugated boxes, boxes for packaging, liners, cotton ribbons, stickers, essential oils, denatured ethyl alcohol, shopping bags, wrapping paper, pumps, drum pumps, perfume pumps, perfume stoppers, cork stoppers and crimping machines for use only in the manufacture and packaging of perfumes and toilet waters bearing the trade mark “LiLi”

5 WindReach Bermuda goods for controlled multi-sensory environment therapy (Snoezelen rooms); utility vehicles of tariff code

8709.190 for the use only by WindReach Bermuda

Commencement

4 This Notice comes into operation on 1 April 2021.
