Citation

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Department of Works and Engineering (Speed Control Bumps in Public Parks) Regulations 1971.

Speed control bumps

2 The Minister for the purpose of controlling the speed of vehicular traffic in a public park may construct bumps or ridges in or across any road used by such traffic in such park.

Warning signs

3 The Minister may erect such signs as he may consider appropriate to warn persons using a road in a public park or the presence of a bump or ridge constructed under the powers conferred upon him by regulation 2, and any such sign may specify the speed at which it is safe for any vehicle or class thereof to travel.
