ELECTRONIC VEHICLE-REGISTRATION REGULATIONS 2019

The Minister responsible for transport, in exercise of the power conferred by section 10(1)(a) of the Electronic Vehicle-Registration Act 2007, makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Electronic Vehicle-Registration Regulations

2019.

Type of electronic tag prescribed

2 The TransCore eGO SST-SP radio frequency identification windshield sticker tag is prescribed as a type of electronic tag for the purposes of the Electronic Vehicle-Registration Act 2007 (the “Act”).

Type of fixed electronic reading device prescribed

3 The TransCore Encompass 4 Reader is prescribed as an electronic reading device of a fixed type for the purposes of the Act.

Type of mobile electronic reading device prescribed

4 The TransCore E1150 handheld reader is prescribed as an electronic reading device of a mobile type for the purposes of the Act.

Type of camera prescribed

5 The ARH SmartCam 3 camera is prescribed as a type of camera for the purposes of the Act.

Revocation

6 The Electronic Vehicle-Registration Regulations 2007 are hereby revoked.
