BERMUDA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT

GOVERNMENT HOUSING AREAS (CEDAR PARK AND PROSPECT) DECLARATION ORDER 1971

[made under section 2 of the Government Housing Areas Act 1971 [title 29 item 4] and brought into operation on 7 August 1971]

The following areas of land the property of the Government are hereby declared to be housing areas under section 2 of the Government Housing Areas Act 1971 [title 29 item 4]: CEDAR PARK ESTATE

(a) An area of land in North Prospect approximately 4.93 acres in extent to the north of the Prospect School Complex and of the Marketing Centre; and south of Friendship Vale School; including the dwelling known as Cedar Park; but excluding the Women's Prison and the curtilage thereof; PROSPECT ESTATE

(b) An area of land in South Prospect approximately 10.80 acres in extent immediately to the east of Fort Prospect; extending to the north to the military cemetery, but excluding it; extending to the east to the Mary Victoria Road so as to include the existing cottages fronting that road on both sides and the curtilages thereof; bounded

on the southeast by the Government boundary; and on the southwest by the Fort Hill Road; as more fully delineated on plan Number 3/11/40 prepared by the Department of Works and Engineering and deposited at the offices of the Permanent Secretary of the Department of Works and Engineering.
