BERMUDA

[13 April 1830]

WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to extend to Bermuda the force, effect and operation of the English Habeas Corpus Acts: [words of enactment omitted]

1 The English Statutes made and passed in the 31st year of the Reign of his Majesty Charles the Second, Chapter 2 (commonly called the Habeas Corpus Act), in the 43rd year of his late Majesty George the Third, Chapter 140, in the 44th year of his said late Majesty George the Third, Chapter 102, and in the 56th year of his said late Majesty George the Third, Chapter 100 (being to alter and amend the said Habeas Corpus Act), be in full force and operation in Bermuda, mutatis mutandis.
