HEALTH INSURANCE (DELEGATION OF POWERS) NOTICE 2016

The Health Insurance Committee, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(1) of the Interpretation Act 1951, issues the following Notice:

Citation

1 This Notice may be cited as the Health Insurance (Delegation of Powers) Notice

2016.

Delegation of Powers

2 The Health Insurance Committee responsible for the discharge of duties by virtue of section 11A of the Health Insurance Act 1970, and subject to any general direction of the Minister, hereby deputes the Director of the Health Insurance Department to exercise on its behalf, the functions of the Health Insurance Committee under sections 2(1)(c), 2(7), 2(8),

11C and 14(1) of the Health Insurance Act 1970.
