HEALTH INSURANCE (FUTURECARE PLAN) (PREMIUM) ORDER 2015

The Minister responsible for health, in exercise of the power conferred by section 13B(2) of the Health Insurance Act 1970, makes the following Order:

Citation

1 This Order may be cited as the Health Insurance (FutureCare Plan) (Premium) Order 2015.

Premium for persons who qualify for subsidy

2 The premium (including the standard premium) to be paid to the Committee in respect of each FutureCare plan effected with the Committee under the Act for persons over the age of 65 who qualify for subsidy under section 2(1) of the Act shall be $530.14 a month (or $122.34 a week where paid weekly). Premium for persons who do not qualify for subsidy

3 The premium (including the standard premium) to be paid to the Committee in respect of each FutureCare plan effected with the Committee under the Act for persons over the age of 65 who do not qualify for subsidy under section 2(1) of the Act shall be $1,528.48 a month (or $352.73 a week where paid weekly). Revokes BR 44/2014

4 The Health Insurance (FutureCare Plan) (Premium) Order 2014 is revoked.

Commencement

5 This Order comes into operation on 1 September 2015.
