HEALTH INSURANCE (STATISTICAL REPORTS) REGULATIONS 2010

The Minister responsible for health, acting on the recommendations of the Bermuda Health Council, in exercise of the power conferred by section 40(1) of the Health Insurance Act 1970, makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Health Insurance (Statistical Reports) Regulations 2010.

Annual statistical returns by licensed health insurers

2 Each licensed insurer shall, not later than the 31st day of August in each year, furnish to the Council, in such form as the Council shall determine, a statistical report in respect of insurance business transacted by that insurer in the twelve months ending on the 31st day of the preceding March.

Annual statistical returns by employers

3 Each employer who operates an approved scheme shall, not later than the 31st day of August in each year, furnish to the Council, in such form as the Council shall determine, a statistical report in respect of the operation of the approved scheme in the twelve months ending on the 31st day of the preceding March.

Revokes BR 15/1986

4 The Health Insurance (Statistical Reports) Regulations 1986 are revoked.

Commencement

5 These Regulations come into operation on 1 April 2010.
