[made under section 7(2) of the Housing Allowance Act 1988 [title 29 item 6] and brought into operation on 1 April 1998]

Citation and commencement

1 This Order may be cited as the Housing Allowance (Maximum Allowable Rent) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 1 April

1998.

Maximum allowable rent

2 The maximum allowable rent is specified as follows: Studio $750 One bedroom $890 Two bedrooms $1,310 Three bedrooms $1,600

Rescinds BR69/1996

3 The Housing Allowance (Maximum Allowable Rent) Order 1996 is rescinded.
