BERMUDA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT

JUDGEMENTS (RECIPROCAL ENFORCEMENT) (AUSTRALIA) ORDER 1988
[made under section 9 (1) of the Judgements (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act
1958 [title 8 item 71] and brought into operation on 17 June 1988]
WHEREAS the Governor is satisfied that the several Legislatures of the Commonwealth of Australia, one of Her Majesty's Dominions outside the United Kingdom, have made reciprocal provision for the enforcement within those parts of that Commonwealth specified in the Schedule hereto of judgements obtained in the Supreme Court of Bermuda:
1 NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ordered that the application of the Judgements (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1958 [title 8 item 71] shall extend to judgments obtained in the superior courts of each part of the Commonwealth of Australia specified in the Schedule to this Order in the like manner as that Act extends to judgements obtained in a superior court in the United Kingdom.
