LAND TITLE REGISTRATION (PHASED INTRODUCTION OF VOLUNTARY REGISTRATION) NOTICE 2018

The Land Title Registrar, in exercise of the power conferred by paragraph 1 of

Schedule 3 to the Land Title Registration Act 2011, gives the following Notice:

Citation

1 This Notice may be cited as the Land Title Registration (Phased Introduction of Voluntary Registration) Notice 2018.

Interpretation

2 In this Notice— “the Act” means the Land Title Registration Act 2011; “LTRO” means the Land Title Registry Office established under section 4(1) of the Act; “the registrar” means the Land Title Registrar appointed under section 4(2) of the Act.

3. Phased introduction of voluntary registration

(1) Any application to be registered as the registered owner of the unregistered registrable estate under section 21 or 23 of the Act may be made to the registrar, but only by appointment with the LTRO.

(2) To arrange an appointment, and request a copy of the LTRO voluntary first registration application checklist, the LTRO’s contact details are—

(a) email: ltroappointment@gov.bm; or

Commencement

4 This Notice shall come into operation on 27 August 2018.
