MARINE AND PORTS (SEABORNE SERVICES) REGULATIONS 2023

The Minister responsible for marine and ports services, in exercise of the power conferred by section 65 of the Marine and Ports Services Act 2021, makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Marine and Ports (Seaborne Services) Regulations 2023.

Interpretation

2 In these Regulations, “Seaborne Services” means services performed by the Minister under section 65 of the Marine and Ports Services Act 2021.

Rate of Dues

3 Dues payable in respect of Seaborne Services shall be calculated as set out in the

Schedule — .

Revocation

4 The Marine Board (Seaborne Services) Regulations 2021 are revoked.

Commencement

5 These Regulations shall come into force on 1 April 2023.

PART 1 — VESSELS

MARINE AND PORTS (SEABORNE SERVICES) REGULATIONS 2023

Notes

1 Tender Service to cruise vessels is subject to a minimum of—

(a) three round trips for the first 12 hour period; and

(b) five round trips in any 24 hour period.

2 Except in the case of dues specified in Part 4 of the Schedule, all charges are subject to a 100 per cent surcharge—

(a) on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; and

(b) between 4:30pm and 8:00am on normal working days.
