1 Interpretation

2 Damages; liability of Admiralty pilot limited to $600

Interpretation

1 In this Act "Admiralty pilot" means the Queen's Harbour Master or his assistant or a pilot approved by the Queen's Harbour Master, while acting as a pilot of any privately owned ship when taking such ship in or out of either of the cambres or basins at Her Majesty's Dockyard at Ireland Island,

Damages; liability of Admiralty pilot limited to $600

2 If any damage is done to or by any ship when under the charge of an Admiralty pilot arising from the neglect or lack of skill on the part of such pilot, then such pilot shall not be liable in damages to any greater extent than six hundred dollars.
